Questions and answers

Is the nuLOOM Gretel rug worth it?
At $82.99 at Ashley as of November 3, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get a handmade wool-and-cotton rug. Expect some shedding and use a pad; it suits light-traffic rooms more than busy hallways.
Can I use it on both sides?
Yes. The rug is reversible, so you can flip it to even out wear. Check that the cotton side still grips your floor or pad.
Does it need a rug pad?
It has no non-slip backing, so a pad is recommended on hardwood, tile or laminate. A pad also adds cushioning, since the rug is fairly thin.
How do I clean a wool and cotton rug?
Vacuum regularly on a low setting without a beater bar. Blot spills right away with a damp cloth and mild soap, and avoid soaking the wool.
Where does it ship from and what sizes are sold?
Availability and sizes vary by store; three stores list it new. Confirm the size and return policy with the store before ordering.
When is the price lowest?
