Is this rug soft enough for a living room?

It is a flat synthetic weave, so it feels firm rather than plush. It works best in casual or outdoor spaces; add a rug pad if you want cushioning.

Can it stay outside in the rain?

It is rated for outdoor use and can handle damp conditions, but bring it in or cover it during heavy, prolonged rain and freezing weather to extend its life.

Shake it out, vacuum both sides, and spot-clean stains with mild soap and water. For deeper cleaning, rinse it with a hose and let it dry flat.

Does it need a rug pad?

A pad is recommended on smooth floors to stop slipping and add a little cushioning. On a patio or deck, a pad also helps with drainage.

What sizes does it come in?

Nuloom offers the Zipporah in several standard rectangular sizes, from small accent rugs to larger room sizes. Check the specific listing for the size you need.

Our take on the Nuloom Zipporah Striped Indoor/Outdoor Area Rug

The Nuloom Zipporah is a flat-woven synthetic area rug with a simple striped pattern, built to move between indoor rooms and covered patios. Its main draw is easy care: it is stain-resistant and meant to be hosed off or spot-cleaned rather than dry-cleaned. It suits high-traffic spots and households with pets or kids more than plush living-room comfort.
