Our take on the Paper Cutter 12 inch Cut Length Guillotine with Safety Guard and Blade Lock

A 12-inch guillotine paper trimmer with a safety guard and blade lock, rated for 16 sheets per cut. It is a basic desktop cutter for home, school and light office trimming. It is not a heavy-duty stack cutter, so thick cardstock and long print runs will need a different tool.

Questions and answers

Is this cutter worth it for home use?
Yes, if you trim paper, photos and light cardstock occasionally. For daily bulk cutting, a heavier rotary or stack cutter is a better fit.
How many sheets can it cut at once?
Up to 16 sheets. Keep stacks thinner than that for clean, straight cuts.
Does it cut cardstock?
Light cardstock is fine in small stacks. Thick or textured cardstock may need several passes.
What is the safety guard for?
It covers the blade edge during cutting and the blade lock holds the arm down for storage.
What size paper does the 12-inch cut length handle?
Letter-size sheets fit with room to spare. Longer sheets need trimming in stages.
What do buyers say about the Paper Cutter 12 inch Cut Length Guillotine with Safety Guard and Blade Lock?
