- Is the Philips 3300 worth it over a pod machine?
- If you drink milk drinks daily, yes: fresh-ground beans and one-touch frothing cost more upfront but cut per-cup cost and give better espresso than pods. If you only drink plain coffee occasionally, a cheaper machine may be enough.
- How does the 3300 differ from the Philips 4300 and 5400?
- The 3300 is the entry point of the LatteGo automatic line. The 4300 and 5400 add features such as more drink presets, user profiles and, on the 5400, a color touchscreen. Brewing and milk frothing work the same way.
- How often do I need to clean it?
- Rinse the LatteGo carafe after each milk use, empty and rinse the brew group weekly, and descale when the machine prompts you, typically every one to three months depending on water hardness.
- What is in the box?
- The machine, the LatteGo milk carafe, a water hardness test strip and a starter descaling solution. Beans, a milk pitcher and a water filter are not included.
- When is it cheapest?
- The only new price we have is $549.99 at Target as of November 8, 2026. Automatic espresso machines usually drop during Black Friday and holiday sales, so watch for those windows.
