Is the Philips 3300 worth it over a manual espresso setup?

If you want bean-to-cup convenience with a grinder and presets, yes. A manual setup costs less but takes more skill and time per shot.

Does it make iced coffee?

Yes. There is a dedicated iced coffee preset, though you still add ice and milk yourself.

Do I need to descale it?

With the AquaClean filter changed when prompted, Philips says you can go up to 5,000 cups without descaling.

Can it froth oat or almond milk?

Yes. Philips says the classic milk frother works with plant-based alternatives as well as dairy.

The machine, a water filter starter, and the standard accessories for the steam wand and brew group. Check the listing for the exact included items.
