Our take on the Pillow Gal Down-Top Featherbed Mattress Topper

The Pillow Gal Down-Top Featherbed is a Full-size mattress topper with a down top layer over a feather core, designed to add softness and loft to a firm or aging mattress. It is a traditional featherbed rather than a foam or gel topper, so it cushions by loft and can be fluffed back into shape. At $45.00 at eBay as of November 6, 2026, it is the lowest new price among the four stores that carry it, making it a cheap way to soften a hard bed.

It feels softer and more cloud-like than foam and does not have foam's sink-in support. Foam holds its shape better; this featherbed needs fluffing.
