Is the Ping Prodi G fairway wood worth it?

It is a sensible pick if your child is already in Ping's Prodi G line and needs a matching fairway wood. At $154.99 from a single seller, compare it with other junior fairway woods before committing.

What loft is this fairway wood?

It is 22°, a high loft aimed at junior swing speeds to help get the ball airborne. Stronger young players may prefer a lower-lofted fairway wood.

What grip comes on it?

It ships with a 45-gram Lamkin ST Junior grip, sized for smaller hands. That is lighter than most adult grips.

How do I know if it fits my child?

Ping sizes its Prodi G junior clubs by height, so check your child's height against Ping's junior fitting chart. The 22° loft and junior grip suit younger, smaller players.

When is the best time to buy it?

With only one store listing it new at $154.99 as of November 7, 2026, there is little room to wait for a lower price. Watch for junior-set bundles instead.
