Is the disc version worth it over the Digital Edition?

Yes if you buy, resell or borrow physical games, or want a 4K Blu-ray player. The Digital Edition is cheaper up front but locks you to the PlayStation Store.

How much storage does it actually have?

The 825GB model gives about 667GB of usable space. A few large games can fill it, so plan on adding an NVMe SSD.

Does it play PS4 games?

Yes. Most PS4 discs and downloads work, and many run with better frame rates or resolution.

Do I need a 4K TV to use it?

No. It works on 1080p TVs, but you only get 4K and 120Hz output on a compatible display with an HDMI 2.1 port for 120Hz.

What comes in the box?

The console, one DualSense controller, an HDMI cable, a power cable and a stand. The Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition bundle adds a themed console and a copy of the game.

Discounts cluster around Black Friday, Prime Day-style sales and console refreshes. At $380 at Revival Games as of November 5, 2026, it is already below the $499 launch price.
