Is the Digital Edition worth it over the disc model?

Only if you are sure you will buy games digitally. The disc model costs more but lets you use cheap used discs and play Blu-ray movies, which usually pays back over a few games.

How much storage does it have, and can I add more?

It ships with an 825GB SSD, of which roughly 667GB is usable. You can add an internal M.2 NVMe SSD, and you can store PS4 games on a USB drive.

Does it play PS4 games?

Yes. Most PS4 games run on it, and many run better with higher frame rates. Disc-based PS4 games will not work because there is no drive.

What comes in the box?

The console, one DualSense wireless controller, an HDMI cable, a power cord and a stand. No game is included.

Can I use it with a VR headset?

Yes. It works with PlayStation VR2 and, with a free adapter, the original PlayStation VR.

Digital Edition prices tend to dip during Black Friday and major Sony sale events. Check the price history before buying at full price.
