- How long is the strip and can it be cut?
- It is a 100ft run. Most strips of this type have cut marks every few LEDs, so you can shorten it, but cut sections usually cannot be reconnected without extra parts.
- Does the remote work through walls?
- No. The 44-key remote is infrared, so it needs a clear line of sight to the receiver. Use the app when you are in another room.
- Can I control it with my phone?
- Yes. It supports app control in addition to the IR remote, so you can change colors and modes from a phone.
- Is it bright enough for a whole room?
- It gives ambient color light rather than room-filling white light. Expect it to work best as accent lighting along ceilings, desks or TV walls.
- Is $30.99 a good price?
- Best Buy lists it at $30.99 as of November 7, 2026, and it is the only new price on record. That is low for 100ft of RGB strip, so it is a fair buy if the length fits your space.
- What is in the box?
- Typically the 100ft strip, the IR receiver and 44-key remote, and a power adapter. Check the listing for the exact contents before ordering.
- Where is the PRIME PLUS Primeplus 100ft RGB LED Light Strips 44 Keys IR Remote cheapest?
- At Best Buy, for $30.99, as of our latest check.
