Is the ROMAX 3000 AC worth it over a cordless press tool?

If you always work near mains power, the AC model removes battery cost and charging downtime. If you work on rooftops or in unpowered buildings, a cordless tool is the practical choice.

What fittings can it press?

It is a standard Rothenberger press tool, so it works with the matching press jaws and heads for the fitting system you use. Jaws are not included in the Basic set, so budget for the sizes you need.

How long does a press take?

Rothenberger rates the press cycle at about 5 seconds. You hold the tool in place until the cycle completes.

The set includes the ROMAX 3000 AC tool, the ROCASE hard case with a fitted insert, and the instruction manual. Press jaws and heads are sold separately.

Is $1,899.45 a good price?

Only one store lists it new at $1,899.45 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent range to judge against. Compare against the cost of a cordless tool plus batteries before deciding.

What do buyers say about the Rothenberger Pressing machine ROMAX 3000 AC?

Buyers like: Seller described as excellent with good communication; Product arrived as described, well packed and safe; Fast shipping and pristine packaging. Common complaints: Shipping from Germany can take longer than hoped; Vendor delays made shipping slow.
