Our take on the SKYSHALO Mini ProPress Tool 18V Electric Pipe Crimping Tool

The SKYSHALO Mini ProPress is an 18V cordless crimping tool for copper, PEX and stainless steel pipe, with steel ProPress jaws up to 2 in and a ratcheting automatic crimp cycle. It weighs 13.2 lbs and measures 16.14 in, so it is a bench-and-bag tool rather than a pocket one. It carries a 1-year warranty. At $693.85 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the SKYSHALO Mini ProPress worth it over a manual crimper?
For anyone pressing more than a few fittings a day, the battery-powered ratcheting cycle saves hand strain and time. At $693.85 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, it costs far more than a manual tool, so it pays off mainly on volume.
What pipe sizes and materials does it crimp?
It is rated for copper, PEX and stainless steel pipe with a maximum clamp diameter of 2 in. Check that your fitting system matches the ProPress jaw profile before buying.
How heavy is it, and can one hand hold it?
It weighs 13.2 lbs and is 16.14 in long. That is manageable at waist height but tiring overhead, so plan on two hands for larger fittings.
Does it come with a battery and charger?
The listing does not state what is in the box. Confirm with the store whether a battery, charger and jaw set are included before ordering.
What warranty does it carry?
SKYSHALO backs it with a 1-year warranty. That is shorter than the multi-year coverage on major-brand press tools.
When is the best time to buy?
Only one new price is listed, $693.85 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, so there is no recent low to wait for. Ask the agent to watch the price if you are not in a hurry.
Where is the SKYSHALO Mini ProPress Tool 18V Electric Pipe Crimping Tool cheapest?
