Is the Safavieh Ebony Rug worth it?

For a hand-tufted wool rug in this size, it is a reasonable buy if you want natural fiber and a medium pile. Compare its current price against its recent range before buying, since wool rugs of this size vary widely.

Yes. New wool rugs, especially hand-tufted ones, shed loose fibers for the first few months. Vacuum without a beater bar and shedding will taper off.

Can I put it in a dining room?

Yes, the maker lists dining areas as a use case. A 6x9 rug fits under a standard dining table with chairs pulled out, and wool handles chair traffic well.

Is it safe for kids and pets?

The rug is listed as kid- and pet-friendly, non-toxic and OEKO-TEX certified. Wool is a natural fiber, though spot-clean accidents promptly to avoid stains.

How do I clean a wool hand-tufted rug?

Vacuum regularly and blot spills with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not machine wash. For deep cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner.

What sizes does the Safavieh Ebony Rug come in?
