Questions and answers

Is the Safavieh Tulum TUL229F runner worth it?
For a budget hallway or entryway runner, yes. It is inexpensive, stain-resistant and soft enough for bare feet. Expect a thin rug, not a plush one.
How does it compare with a wool runner?
Wool costs more but feels denser and lasts longer. This synthetic runner is cheaper, easier to clean and lighter, which suits high-traffic spots and rentals.
Does it need a rug pad?
At about 0.4 inches thick, it benefits from a pad on hardwood or tile. A pad adds cushioning and keeps the runner from sliding.
What sizes does the Tulum TUL229F come in?
This listing is the 2' x 5' runner. The Tulum collection also comes in larger rectangular sizes and other shapes, so check the size before ordering.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum regularly and blot spills with a damp cloth; the synthetic yarns are stain-resistant. For deeper cleaning, follow the care label or have it professionally cleaned.
When is it cheapest?
Prices for Safavieh rugs move with retailer sales, often around major holiday events. Compare stores before buying rather than assuming one price holds.
What do buyers say about the Safavieh Tulum Rug Collection TUL229F - Grey / Ivory - 2' x 5?
