Our take on the Sango Roma Caramel Soup Cereal Bowl
The Sango Roma Caramel Soup Cereal Bowl is an 8-inch stoneware bowl, 2 inches deep, finished in a warm caramel glaze. It is built for soup, cereal, salad and pasta, and it is both dishwasher and microwave safe. Sango's Roma line is a long-running casual stoneware pattern, so matching pieces are easy to find. Questions and answers
- Is this bowl big enough for a full bowl of soup?
- Yes. At 8 inches across and 2 inches deep it holds a generous serving of soup or cereal. It is wider than it is deep, so very brothy dishes are better eaten with a spoon and care.
- Can it go in the microwave and dishwasher?
- Yes. Sango lists the bowl as both microwave and dishwasher safe. Let it cool before washing to reduce thermal shock on the stoneware.
- Will it match my existing Sango Roma dishes?
- It should. The bowl belongs to the Roma pattern in the caramel colorway, so it is designed to sit alongside other Roma plates and bowls. Check the colorway name on your current pieces, since Roma comes in several glazes.
- Is stoneware safe for everyday family use?
- Yes, with normal care. Stoneware is durable but heavier than porcelain and can chip if dropped or stacked hard. Avoid stacking heavy pans on top of it.
- What is in the box?
- One bowl. This is a single 8-inch soup and cereal bowl, not a set. Order the quantity you need if you want a matching stack.
