Is the Sango Roma Caramel Mug worth it?

If you want a sturdy, microwave-safe stoneware mug in a warm neutral glaze, it is a sensible buy. It makes the most sense if you already own or plan to collect Roma pieces, since matching the pattern matters more than the mug alone.

Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?

Yes. Sango lists this mug as both dishwasher safe and microwave safe, so normal washing and reheating drinks are fine.

Sango does not list a capacity for this mug in the pattern details. Roma mugs are standard stoneware coffee mugs, so expect a typical single-serving size rather than a large soup mug.

Will it match other Sango Roma pieces?

Yes, if the other pieces carry pattern code 4815. Roma has been made in several colorways, so check the pattern code and the caramel and tan coloring before mixing with pieces you already own.

One Sango Roma Caramel Mug. It is sold as a single mug, not a set.

Open-stock mugs like this one tend to drop during dinnerware sales and around the winter holidays. Watch the price history for a dip below the recent range before buying several.

Our take on the Sango Roma Caramel Mug

The Sango Roma Caramel Mug is a stoneware coupe mug in a warm caramel glaze with a tan center and no trim, part of Sango's Roma line (pattern 4815). It is dishwasher and microwave safe, so it works for daily coffee, tea and reheated leftovers. The coupe shape gives a wide, open rim that suits lattes and cappuccinos. It is a single mug from a long-running casual dinnerware pattern, so matching pieces are usually easy to find.
