Is the DG DN II worth it over the first 24-70mm Art?

Yes if you want the lighter, smaller body, faster autofocus and closer focusing. The original still delivers similar optics for less money if weight is not a concern.

Does it work on Sony and Leica cameras?

It comes in Sony E-mount and Leica L-mount versions. Buy the mount that matches your body; they are not interchangeable.

Does it have image stabilization?

No. It relies on the camera's in-body stabilization, so pair it with an IBIS-equipped body for handheld low light.

How close can it focus?

17 cm at 24mm, giving 1:2.7 magnification. Close focus distance grows as you zoom toward 70mm.

The lens, a petal lens hood (LH878-05), a rear cap (LCR II) and a case.
