Our take on the Sorbus 12 inch Metal Hanging Planter 4 Pack with Coco Coir Liner, Black

This is a four-pack of round 12-inch metal hanging planters in black, each with a coco coir liner. The liners let you plant directly without a separate pot, and the wire rim and chain hanger suit porches, patios and indoor ceilings. At $38.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no cheaper store to compare against.

Questions and answers

Do the planters come with liners?
Yes. Each of the four 12-inch metal planters includes a coco coir liner, so you can add soil and plant directly.
Can these hang outdoors?
They can, but the metal and chain may rust with long exposure to rain. Bring them in or under cover in wet weather to extend their life.
Do the liners have drainage holes?
The coco coir liners do not come with drainage holes. Punch a few in the bottom if you water heavily or keep them outside.
How much soil does each planter hold?
Each 12-inch round liner holds roughly a gallon or two of potting mix, enough for a medium trailing plant. Fill to about an inch below the rim.
Is $38.99 a good price for the four-pack?
At $38.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, you pay about $9.75 per planter with liner included, which is reasonable for a lined metal set. Only one store lists a new price, so watch for seasonal markdowns.
What is included in the box?
Four black metal hanging planters, four coco coir liners and the attached hanging chains. Hooks or ceiling mounts are not included.
Where is the Sorbus 12 inch Metal Hanging Planter 4 Pack with Coco Coir Liner, Black cheapest?
