Questions and answers

Is this set worth it compared with glass containers?
It costs less than most glass sets and is lighter on shelves. Glass resists stains and odors better, so choose glass if you store oily or strongly colored foods.
How much food does the 276-ounce set hold?
That is about 34 cups total across the containers. It covers typical amounts of cereal, flour, sugar and snacks for a household.
Are the lids really airtight?
Yes, the snap-on lids are designed to seal airtight. Press each lid down evenly around the rim so the gasket seats fully.
Can these containers go in the dishwasher?
The plastic bodies are best hand washed to protect the lids and seals. Top-rack dishwasher cleaning may warp lids over time.
What sizes are in the set?
The containers come in two heights, roughly 4 inches and 7.3 inches, with footprints around 11.5 by 6 inches and 12.5 by 7.5 inches.
When is the best time to buy?
Only one store lists a new price, $44.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026. Watch for set discounts around back-to-school and holiday sales.
