Questions and answers

Is a mechanical keypad lock worth it over an electronic one?
Yes if you want zero battery changes and no app. You give up remote unlock, auto-lock and entry logs, which electronic deadbolts provide.
Will it fit my door?
It fits doors 1.38 to 2.56 inches thick. Installation needs existing or drilled 8mm and 13mm holes, so measure before buying.
Can I use it in the rain?
It is rated IP54 to IP55, which handles rain and splashes on a covered porch. Full direct exposure and standing water are not recommended.
How many codes can I set, and how long are they?
Codes are 4 to 6 digits, and the anti-peep feature lets you type extra digits around the real code. The listing does not state a user-code count.
What comes in the box?
The lock and handle set, two duplicable keys, screws and a user manual. Batteries are not needed.
When is it cheapest?
Only one store, Amazon, lists a new price at $47.97 as of November 4, 2026. Watch for seasonal sales, since there is no price history to time a drop.
