Is the mattress included?

No. The daybed is the frame and upholstery only; you supply a standard twin mattress. A mattress around 8 to 10 inches thick fits the backrest best.

Does it need a box spring?

No. The pine frame and support legs hold a twin mattress directly. A box spring would raise the sleeping height and is not required.

How much weight does it hold?

Streamdale does not publish a firm weight rating for this model. The pine frame with four legs is built for one adult or child sleeping, not for several people sitting at once.

What size mattress fits?

A standard twin mattress, 38 by 75 inches. Twin XL is too long for this frame.

Is it hard to assemble?

It is a straightforward bolt-together frame, but two people help when attaching the back and side panels. Expect roughly an hour with basic tools.

Upholstered daybeds tend to drop during back-to-school and pre-holiday guest-room sales. Check the price history before buying rather than paying full list.

Our take on the Streamdale Twin Size Upholstered Daybed with 4 Support Legs

The Streamdale Twin Upholstered Daybed is a pine-framed sofa bed with tufted linen upholstery and four support legs, sized for a twin mattress. It works as seating by day and a sleeper by night, which suits small bedrooms, guest rooms and studio apartments. The tufted back and side panels give it a finished look that plain metal daybeds lack. It is a basic, low-cost frame rather than a storage or trundle model.
