Our take on the SunJet 3-Seat Chenille Reclining Sofa with Drop-Down Table and Console

The SunJet 3-Seat Chenille Reclining Sofa is a 79-inch motion sofa with three reclining seats, a drop-down table in the middle back, and a center console with cup holders and storage. Chenille upholstery, pillow-top arms and a metal-and-wood inner frame with pocket coils and sinuous springs put it in the mid-range of fabric reclining sofas. It needs only 4 inches of wall clearance and reaches a 65-inch full recline depth, so it fits a standard living room without a large gap behind it. At 161 lbs assembled, plan for two people to move it in.

Questions and answers

Is the SunJet reclining sofa worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you want three recliners, a drop-down table and a console for well under what power-reclining leather sofas cost. Check the fabric and manual recline in person if you can, since those are the main compromises.
How much wall clearance does it need?
About 4 inches behind the back, and it reaches a 65-inch full recline depth. That is tighter than many recliners, so it works in smaller rooms.
Does it recline with power or a handle?
It is a manual motion sofa, so each seat reclines with a lever or latch rather than a motor. There is no power option or USB charging listed.
What are the dimensions and weight?
It measures 79 inches wide, 39 inches deep and 39 inches high, and weighs 161 lbs assembled. Measure your doorway and stair turn before delivery.
Is the middle seat a full recliner?
The middle back folds down into the table and console, so that seat is best for sitting upright. The two outer seats are the main recliners.
When is the price likely to be lowest?
Large furniture like this usually drops during holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Compare the current price against its recent range before buying.
