Is the SVS Ultra Evolution Nano sold as a pair?

No. Each box contains one speaker, so a stereo pair means buying two.

Do I need a subwoofer with the Ultra Evolution Nano?

For music in a small room, many listeners are fine without one. For home theater, a subwoofer fills in below the rated 44 Hz.

What amplifier power does it need?

It is a 6-ohm speaker with moderate sensitivity, so most AV receivers and stereo amps in the 50 to 150 watt range will drive it.

Can it be used as a center channel?

Yes. SVS positions it for front LCR or surround duty in a home theater, though a dedicated center is a better match for wide seating.

Is $399.99 a good price?
