Our take on the Sweet Jojo Designs American Mahjong Tile Set 1.24in Layered Acrylic Travel Bag

This is a full American mahjong set from Sweet Jojo Designs with 1.24-inch layered acrylic tiles and a travel bag. The smaller tile size and soft case make it easier to carry than a standard 1.5-inch set, but the tiles are lighter and less chunky in the hand. The best new price is $249.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, with three stores selling it new. That is a premium price for a compact acrylic set, so compare it against larger tile sets before buying.

Best forPlayers who host mahjong nights at home or on tripsFans of American mahjong who want a portable setBuyers who prefer acrylic tiles over plastic or boneGift shoppers looking for an adult game set

Cons
  • $249.99 is high for a compact acrylic set

  • No mention of racks, dice or pushers in the listed specs
