- Is $299.99 a good price for this mahjong set?
- It is the best new price as of November 4, 2026, at Target, and the only new price among the three stores listing it. Comparable American mahjong sets with racks and a case often sell for well under $200, so you are paying a premium for the Judaica Pearl design.
- What comes in the box?
- The listing confirms a four-player American mahjong game but does not detail tiles, racks, dice or a case. Ask the seller for a full contents list before ordering, since decorative sets vary widely.
- Is this set suitable for tournament play?
- There is no information on tile size, material or rack quality, which tournament players rely on. Treat it as a home and display set unless the seller confirms standard tile dimensions.
- Is it a good gift?
- The Judaica Pearl styling and adult age rating make it a reasonable keepsake gift for a mahjong player. Confirm the contents first so the recipient gets a playable set, not just a decorative one.
- How does it compare with a standard American mahjong set?
- Standard sets focus on tile feel, rack sturdiness and a carrying case, usually at a lower price. This one competes on design, so choose it for looks and choose a plain set for serious play.
- When is it cheapest?
- Only one new price, $299.99 at Target as of November 4, 2026, is listed, so there is no discount history to time a purchase around. Check the other two stores for used or open-box offers.
