Our take on the Swindle Abstract Gray/Gold Area Rug

The Swindle is a synthetic, stain-resistant indoor area rug from Wade Logan's Swindle collection, sold in gray with gold abstract patterning. It has a non-slip backing and GREENGUARD certification, and it comes in many sizes and colors, including square options up to 12 feet. The listed 2 ft size is a small accent piece, so check the size selector before buying. It is a budget-friendly decorative rug rather than a hand-knotted one.

Questions and answers

Is the Swindle rug worth it?
For a decorative, stain-resistant rug at a budget price, yes. It is not a heirloom piece, but the non-slip backing and GREENGUARD certification add practical value.
What sizes does it come in?
It is sold in multiple sizes and colors, including square options up to 12 ft. The 2 ft listing is the smallest accent size, so confirm the size before ordering.
Does it need a rug pad?
No. It has a non-slip backing, so a pad is optional. A thin pad can still add cushioning on hard floors.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
It is stain-resistant and GREENGUARD certified for low emissions, which suits family rooms. The synthetic pile is easy to wipe clean.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum regularly and blot spills with a mild detergent and water. Avoid harsh chemicals and machine washing.
When is it cheapest?
Area rugs typically drop during seasonal sales and holiday events. Check the price history before buying rather than assuming the list price is the low.
