Is the TCL 43S435 worth it?

At a clearance price it is a solid budget 4K TV for a bedroom or secondary room. If you need bright HDR picture quality, spend more on a newer set.

Yes. It uses the Roku TV operating system, with the Roku home screen, app store and a simple remote. It supports the major streaming apps.

The TV, a Roku TV remote, a power cable and a stand with screws. Batteries for the remote and an HDMI cable are not included.

Does it have Bluetooth or voice control?

The set has Wi-Fi for streaming but no Bluetooth audio output, and the included remote is IR-only without voice search. Voice control needs a separate Roku voice remote or the mobile app.

How many HDMI ports does it have?

Three HDMI inputs, plus a USB port and composite input. That is enough for a console, a streaming stick and a cable box.

Our take on the TCL 43S435 4K Smart LED TV

The TCL 43S435 is a 43-inch 4K LED smart TV from TCL's entry-level S435 series, sold mainly through Walmart and similar retailers. It offers 3840 x 2160 resolution, a flat panel and the Roku smart TV platform, which is the main reason people pick it over budget rivals. It is a 2020-era model, so current stock is often clearance or refurbished, and its price swings widely with availability.
