Is the TCL 98-inch Q6 worth it?

Yes if you want the largest screen for the least money. At $1,498 at Sam's Club as of November 7, 2026, it undercuts most 98-inch rivals by a wide margin.

How does it compare with the TCL QM6?

The QM6 adds mini-LED backlighting for deeper blacks and higher brightness. The Q6 is the budget pick and is fine for bright rooms and casual viewing.

Does it need a special wall mount?

Yes. A 98-inch set needs a heavy-duty mount rated well above the TV's weight, fixed into studs. Many buyers use a low media stand instead.

The TV, a stand, a remote, and a power cable. A wall mount and HDMI cables are not included.

Does it support 4K at 120Hz for gaming?

The Q6 line supports high refresh rates on some inputs, but check the exact HDMI port specs for your console before buying.

Large TVs drop most around Black Friday and before the Super Bowl. The current $1,498 is already near the low end of its range.
