Questions and answers

Is the TIMHAKA cat house worth it at $65.99?
At $65.99 at Chewy.com as of November 4, 2026, it is the cheapest of the three new prices tracked. That is a fair price for a two-level raised shelter you don't have to build.
How does it hold up in rain and wind?
It is sold as weatherproof and freestanding, with a raised upper level that keeps bedding off the ground. In heavy exposure, check seams and the roof edge each season.
Will a large cat fit inside?
It stands 29.5 inches high across two levels, which suits average cats. Very large cats may find the compartments snug, so measure your cat against the openings before buying.
Does it come with bedding or a heater?
No. It is a shelter structure only, so plan on adding straw or a heated pad for cold nights. Straw insulates better than blankets, which hold moisture.
When is the best time to buy it?
Outdoor cat shelters tend to be discounted in late summer and early fall, before cold weather drives demand. The current $65.99 is already the lowest of three tracked new prices.
