Our take on the TOTO WASHLET S2 Electronic Bidet Toilet Seat

The TOTO WASHLET S2 is an electronic bidet seat that replaces a standard elongated toilet seat and adds a warm-water wash, a heated seat and a warm-air dryer. It uses instantaneous water heating, so the wash stays warm without a tank, and it has an energy-saving mode for when the seat sits idle. At $420 at Plumbing Overstock as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what the seven stores listing it new charge.

Questions and answers

Is the TOTO WASHLET S2 worth it?
If you want a heated seat and a warm wash without replacing the toilet, yes. At $420 at Plumbing Overstock as of November 5, 2026, it is the cheapest of the seven stores listing it new, and it covers the core bidet functions without a remote or tank.
Will it fit my toilet?
It is made for elongated bowls and measures about 18.4 inches wide by 21.3 inches deep. Measure your bowl and check that the seat mounting holes match the standard two-bolt pattern before ordering.
Do I need an electrical outlet?
Yes. The seat plugs in with a power cord, so you need a GFCI outlet within reach of the toilet. Without one, the heated seat, wash and dryer will not run.
Does it have a dryer and a heated seat?
Yes. It has a warm-air dryer and a heated seat with adjustable temperature, plus an energy-saving mode that lowers the seat temperature when it is not in use.
How does it compare with the WASHLET S1?
The S2 adds a warm-air dryer and more wash settings over the entry S1. If you only want a warm wash and heated seat, the S1 costs less; the S2 is the better pick if you want to cut paper use further.
When is it cheapest?
Bidet seats tend to dip during plumbing and home-improvement sales. The current best new price is $420 at Plumbing Overstock as of November 5, 2026, so compare against that before buying elsewhere.
Where is the TOTO WASHLET S2 Electronic Bidet Toilet Seat cheapest?
