Is the True Catalyst 9X4 worth it?

For elite adult skaters who want a stiff one-piece carbon boot with a locked-in fit, yes. If you are a beginner or intermediate skater, the stiffness and price are hard to justify.

What level of player is this skate for?

True lists it as elite level. It suits strong, experienced players who skate hard and want quick directional changes.

What sizes and widths come in the Catalyst 9X4?

Listed sizes run from adult 9W to 10.5W, including 10 and 10.5 in standard and wide. Wide (W) widths are available in several sizes.

What steel do the skates come with?

They come with DLC-coated steel runners, which resist wear and hold an edge longer than standard steel.

How stiff is the boot?

True rates the shell as moderate stiffness. It is stiff enough for powerful strides but not the hardest boot in the line.
