Is the Bauer Supreme M30 good for a beginner?

Yes. It is aimed at new adult players and casual league beginners, with a forgiving heat-moldable boot and a padded felt tongue.

Can the M30 be heat molded?

Yes. The boot is heat moldable, so a shop can bake it to speed break-in and improve the fit around your foot.

What holder and runner does it use?

It uses the LS EDGE holder with an LS+ runner. The holder accepts standard replacement steel.

How does the M30 compare to higher Supreme models?

Higher models use stiffer, lighter boots and better steel. The M30 keeps the Supreme fit but is heavier and less stiff, which suits beginners.
