Is this paint good for miniatures?

Yes. Model Color is formulated for brush-painting metal, resin and plastic miniatures, and this shade is opaque and matte. It is a single color, so you will need primer and other shades for a full scheme.

Do I need to thin it?

For base coats it brushes on well from the bottle. Thin it with a little water for smooth thin layers, fine detail or airbrush use.

How much does 18 ml cover?

An 18 ml bottle covers many small figures, typically dozens of 28 mm miniatures for a single color. Large vehicles or terrain will use it faster.

Does it work on resin and metal?

Yes, it is intended for white metal and resin models. Prime the model first so the acrylic grips and does not rub off.

Is it waterproof once dry?

The dried film resists water, so washes and wet techniques will not lift it easily. A varnish coat adds further protection for gaming pieces.

Is it safe to use indoors?

It is water-based, odorless and labeled non-toxic for adult hobby use. Keep it out of reach of young children and avoid ingesting it.

Our take on the Vallejo Model Color 70772 Medium Grey Blue 18ml

Vallejo Model Color 70772 is an 18 ml bottle of opaque, matte acrylic paint in a medium grey-blue shade, made for brush-painting miniatures and models. It is water-based, odorless and non-toxic, thins and cleans up with water, and dries fast to a waterproof film on white metal and resin. It is a single color from a line of over 200, so most buyers pick it up to fill a specific shade rather than as a starter paint.
