Is this paint good for miniatures?

Yes. It is a matte acrylic made for brush work on small models and figures, and 17 ml covers many miniatures.

Does it need thinning?

Usually not for base coats. Thin with a little water for smoother layers, but too much water can make it chalky.

Can I use it on metal and glass?

Yes. Vallejo lists plastic, metal and glass as compatible surfaces. Prime bare metal first for the best grip.

Yes, it is water-washable while wet, so brushes clean up with water. Once dry, the matte acrylic film resists water.

One 17 ml bottle of Rose Brown paint. The listing also mentions an applicator and brush.
