Our take on the Vebreda Electric Fireplace Indoor Freestanding Space Heater with Faux Log and Flame Effect

The Vebreda is a small freestanding electric fireplace that doubles as a space heater. It stands 21.5 inches tall and 16.5 inches wide, with a faux log and flame effect for ambiance and 750W or 1500W heat settings. The body is plastic, so it reads as a decorative accent rather than a built-in fireplace. At $69.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is the Vebreda fireplace heater worth it?
At $69.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, it is a low-cost way to add a flame effect and some warmth to a small room. Do not expect it to heat a large living area.
How much heat does it put out?
It runs at 750W or 1500W, listed at 500 BTU/hour. That is enough for a bedroom or small office as supplemental heat, not a main heat source.
Can I run the flame without heat?
The listing highlights the faux log and flame effect as a separate feature, so the flame can run for ambiance. Check the controls on arrival to confirm flame-only mode.
What safety features does it have?
It has overheating protection, automatic shutoff and a child lock. It is corded electric and meant for indoor use only.
How big is it?
It measures 10 inches deep, 16.5 inches wide and 21.5 inches tall. It is freestanding, so it needs floor space and a nearby outlet, not a wall opening.
When is it cheapest?
