- Is the Vornado Velocity 4 worth it?
- At $69.99 at Newegg as of November 8, 2026, it is a reasonable price for a 1,500-watt whole-room heater with Vornado's air-circulation design. It makes sense if you want simple, powerful heat without smart features.
- Does it need Wi-Fi or an app?
- No. It is a plain plug-in heater with manual controls and no Wi-Fi, so there is nothing to pair or set up.
- How much power does it use?
- It draws up to 1,500 watts, which is close to the limit of a standard 15-amp household circuit. Avoid sharing that circuit with other high-draw appliances.
- What size room can it heat?
- Vornado positions it as a whole-room heater, and its vortex airflow helps move heat beyond the unit. It suits a bedroom or office better than a large open living space.
- Is it loud?
- It has a fan and heating element, so expect some fan noise, especially on high. It is not silent like an oil-filled radiator.
- When is it cheapest?
- Heater prices usually dip in spring and early fall, before cold-weather demand. Check the price history on this page to see how $69.99 compares with past lows.
