Is the Beant daybed worth it?

It is a reasonable pick if you need two sleeping spots in one room. The pop-up trundle is the main draw over a standard daybed.

What size mattresses does it take?

Two twin mattresses, one for the daybed and one for the trundle. Neither is included. Keep the trundle mattress thin so it clears the frame when raised.

Does it need a box spring?

No. Slats are included, so mattresses sit directly on the slatted base.

How much weight does it hold?

The listed weight capacity is 400 lb.

How hard is assembly?

Assembly is required and most owners say it takes two people and an hour or more. Have a screwdriver and a helper ready.

Our take on the Wade Logan Beant Daybed with Pop Up Trundle

The Beant is a twin daybed with a pop-up trundle that lifts to bed height, so the pair forms a king-size sleeping surface. It has a slatted base, no box spring needed, and a 400 lb weight capacity. It comes in several finishes and requires assembly. The trundle space doubles as underbed storage when not in use.
