Do I need a box spring with the Belo bed?

No. The bed ships with slats, so you place the mattress directly on them. A low-profile box spring can be added if you want extra height.

What mattress thickness works best?

A standard 8 to 12 inch mattress sits well against the headboard. Very thick mattresses can hide part of the upholstered headboard.

You build the frame and attach the headboard, which takes most people one to two hours with two people. The headboard is the heaviest part.

It is upholstery fabric, so vacuum it regularly and blot spills right away. Use a fabric cleaner tested on a hidden spot first.

The Belo line is offered in several sizes, including Queen and Full, depending on the retailer. Check the size before ordering.

Furniture prices drop most during major sales events and holiday weekends. Compare across stores, since the same bed is listed at different prices.
