Is the Weber Genesis S-435 worth it?

If you regularly cook for six or more and want a hot sear zone plus a side burner, the 994 sq in of cooking area justifies the price. For two-person grilling, a smaller Genesis model costs less and takes less space.

How does the S-435 differ from the current Genesis?

This is the previous-generation Genesis. It has the WEBER CRAFTED frame, the extra-large sear zone and the expandable top grate; check the current model's specs if you want the newest burner layout.

Does it come with a propane tank?

No. It runs on liquid propane, and the 20 lb. tank is sold separately.

How much space does it need?

It measures 68.5 in wide, 27 in deep and 48.5 in high with the lid closed, and 63 in high with the lid open. Leave clearance behind and beside it for the lid and side tables.

What is the total cooking area?

994 sq in: 646 sq in on the primary grate and 348 sq in on the top grate.
