Is the Harmony sofa worth $4,198?

If you want a deep, modular sectional with washable performance velvet covers, it is a reasonable buy at that price. With only one new listing, you have little room to negotiate, so compare it against other modular sectionals before committing.

How does the Harmony compare with West Elm's other sectionals?

The Harmony is the deepest and most lounge-focused of West Elm's modular lines, with a 55-inch chaise seat. Shallower models like the Andes or Dekalb suit smaller rooms better.

Can I wash the cushion covers?

Yes. The loose, reversible cushions have zip-off covers, and the performance velvet is designed for spot cleaning and machine washing on a gentle cycle. Air dry to avoid shrinkage.

Will this fit my room?

It measures 122 inches wide, 65 inches deep and 37 inches high, so measure your space and doorways first. The chaise alone extends 55 inches of seat depth.

What comes in the box?

The set includes the sectional pieces, lumbar pillows and throw pillows. Assembly is minimal because the modules connect together.

When is the best time to buy?

West Elm runs seasonal sales around major holidays and long weekends. With one new listing at $4,198 as of November 4, 2026, watch for a markdown during those events.

Our take on the West Elm Harmony Modular Sofa

The Harmony is West Elm's deep-seat modular sectional, here in a 122-inch L-shaped chaise configuration with a 55-inch chaise seat depth and 20-inch seat height. It has a skirted base, loose reversible cushions with zip-off covers, and comes with lumbar and throw pillows. The frame is engineered hardwood, and the upholstery is Performance Distressed Velvet. The best new price is $4,198 at West Elm as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against right now.
