Our take on the Wevac 12" Chamber Vacuum Sealer, 8.5 Qt, Auto Vacuum Sensing for Food

The Wevac 12" is a countertop chamber vacuum sealer with a 12.2" x 13" x 3.9" chamber and a 4" seal bar. Chamber machines pull a vacuum around the whole bag, so they handle liquids, marinades and wet foods that suction-style sealers can't. It uses 380 watts, a double sealing wire and a smoked tempered glass lid, and weighs 16.9 kg. Its best new price is $499.00 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026, with 2 stores listing it new.

Questions and answers

Is a chamber sealer worth it over a suction sealer?
Yes if you seal liquids, marinades or wet foods, which chamber machines handle without pulling liquid into the pump. For dry foods only, a cheaper suction sealer does the job.
What size bags fit the Wevac 12"?
The chamber is 12.2" wide and the seal bar is 4" long, so bags must fit within those limits. Check bag width against the 4" seal bar before ordering.
Does it work on US 120V power?
The listing states 220 volts, so confirm the voltage with the seller before buying for a US outlet. A 220V unit may need a step-up converter.
Can it seal liquids like soup or marinade?
Yes. The chamber pulls vacuum around the entire bag, so liquids stay in the bag instead of being sucked into the machine.
When is the best time to buy?
The best new price was $499.00 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026. Watch for holiday sales, when chamber sealers often drop.
Where is the Wevac 12" Chamber Vacuum Sealer, 8.5 Qt, Auto Vacuum Sensing for Food cheapest?
