Is this daybed worth it?

For a guest room or studio where you need seating and a spare bed in one footprint, yes. If you expect daily adult sleeping or heavy use, a solid wood frame holds up longer.

What mattress size does it take?

Daybeds of this style typically take a twin mattress, but confirm the listed dimensions before buying. A standard twin is 38 by 75 inches.

Does it come with a mattress?

Daybeds like this are usually sold as the frame only. Budget for a twin mattress separately unless the listing says otherwise.

How hard is assembly?

Expect a flat-pack build with a couple of hours of work. Two people make fitting the back and arms much easier.

Is the upholstery easy to clean?

It is fabric, so blot spills promptly with a mild cleaner and vacuum regularly. It is not a wipe-clean surface like leather or vinyl.

When is the best time to buy?

Furniture discounts cluster around holiday sales and end-of-season clearances. Track the price history here and buy when it dips below the recent range.

Our take on the Willa Arlo Interiors Gray Upholstered Daybed

The Willa Arlo Interiors Gray Upholstered Daybed is a sofa-by-day, bed-by-night piece with a soft fabric cover and a manufactured wood frame. It suits guest rooms, studios and home offices where one piece has to do two jobs. The gray upholstery keeps it neutral against most palettes.
