Our take on the Wrought Studio Integrated LED Floor Lamp with Remote Control, 68.9 in

The Wrought Studio Integrated LED Floor Lamp is a 68.9-inch tall lamp with a brown finish, built-in LEDs and both touch and remote control. Because the LEDs are integrated, there are no bulbs to replace. Its price has moved in a narrow band recently, from $54.99 on October 31 to a low of $49.99 on November 1, so the current price sits at the bottom of that range.

Questions and answers

Is this lamp worth buying?
At $49.99 it is a low-cost way to add a tall, remote-controlled light without bulbs. It suits renters and anyone who wants light without wiring, but the LEDs cannot be replaced later.
How does it compare with a bulb-based floor lamp?
You never buy or swap bulbs, and the remote and touch controls are built in. The trade-off is that when the integrated LED fails, the whole lamp goes.
Does it have a battery or need an outlet?
The lamp itself plugs into a wall outlet. The remote runs on its own small battery, which you will need to replace occasionally.
How tall is it and will it fit my room?
It stands 68.9 inches, close to 5 feet 9 inches, so it reaches above most sofas and chairs. Check ceiling height and clearance where you plan to place it.
What is in the box?
You get the lamp, its integrated LED light source and the remote control. No separate bulbs are needed.
When is it cheapest?
Its recent low was $49.99 on November 1, against $54.99 on October 31. The spread is only $5, so waiting rarely saves much.
What do buyers say about the Wrought Studio Integrated LED Floor Lamp with Remote Control, 68.9 in?
