Is the Xkj folding e-bike worth buying?

Only as a cheap short-trip bike. At $169.99 at Walmart as of October 30, 2026 it costs less than most 48V e-bikes, but the 2.6-star rating means you should expect to fix or replace parts yourself.

How fast does it go and how far on a charge?

The listing claims 20 MPH and 20+ miles in pedal-assist. Expect less range if you use the throttle most of the time, and less again in cold weather or on hills.

Can it fit in a car trunk?

Yes. The frame, handlebars and pedals all fold, but the steel frame and battery make it heavy to lift, so two hands and a low trunk are easier.

The seat and handlebars adjust, but the 14-inch wheels and frame suit shorter adults best. Taller riders will feel cramped and unstable.

Does it come assembled?

Folding e-bikes in this class usually ship mostly assembled, with handlebars, pedals and front wheel to fit. Check the box contents and torque the bolts before the first ride.
