- Does the DTX6K3-X include a kick pedal and hi-hat stand?
- No. The kit ships without a kick pedal or hi-hat stand, so budget for both. A standard stand-mounted hi-hat stand and any kick pedal work with it.
- How does it compare with the DTX6K2-X?
- The K3-X adds the stand-mounted hi-hat and larger cymbal setup over the K2-X, giving a more realistic hi-hat feel. Both share the DTX-PRO module and TCS pads.
- Is it quiet enough for an apartment?
- Yes. The TCS pads and rubber cymbals are much quieter than acoustic drums, though the kick tower still transmits some thump through floors. A drum mat helps.
- What comes in the box?
- The pads, cymbals, hi-hat pad, kick tower, RS6 rack, DTX-PRO module and cables. Pedals and the hi-hat stand are not included.
- Can I add a second crash or a drum module app?
- The DTX-PRO module has spare trigger inputs for an extra pad or cymbal. It also connects to the DTX-PRO app and to a computer over USB for recording.
- Is $1,699.99 a good price?
- It is the best new price found as of November 7, 2026, but it sits near the top of the kit's recent range. Compare the other three stores before buying.
