The Yamaha Rydeen is a five-piece acoustic kit aimed at new and younger drummers: 20" bass drum, 10" and 12" rack toms on a Yamaha ball clamp, 14" floor tom and 14" wood snare, in Gloss Pale Blue. Its selling point is genuine Yamaha hardware and tom mounts at an entry-level price, so setup and tuning are less of a fight than on budget no-name kits. The shells are wood plies tuned for punchy attack and clear projection rather than a warm vintage tone. At $519.99 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range across the three stores that price it new.
