Tempest deals
Tempest makes a compact home weather station that measures wind, rain, temperature, humidity, pressure and lightning, and streams readings to a phone app with no moving parts. Its products are sold mainly direct from the brand and through a few outdoor and smart-home retailers. This page currently lists no live deals, so there is no saving to report; the Tempest Weather System is the flagship item, with the Weather Station listing covering the same hardware.

Tempest products: prices and price history
Questions and answers
- Does Tempest run sales?
- Tempest discounts mostly around Black Friday and occasional seasonal promotions, and refurbished units sometimes sell for less on its own site. Outside those windows, prices tend to hold near list.
- Where is the Tempest Weather System cheapest?
- Buying direct from Tempest is usually the baseline price, and Amazon and specialty weather retailers match it or add shipping. Check the price history on this page before buying, since discounts are infrequent and small.
- What is the difference between the Tempest Weather System and the Tempest Weather Station?
- They are the same product: the Weather System is the full kit with the sensor unit, mounting hardware and hub, and the Weather Station listing refers to that hardware. Confirm the listing includes the hub, since the sensor alone cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
- Does the Tempest station need batteries or a subscription?
- The sensor runs on a built-in solar panel with an internal battery backup, and the basic app, forecasts and history are free. An optional paid tier adds longer data history and extra features.
- What is Tempest's return policy?
- Tempest offers a 60-day return window on orders from its own store, with the unit in working condition. Orders placed through other retailers follow that store's return terms instead.
