Is the HP OmniBook 3 17-dp0419nr good for everyday use?

Yes for browsing, email, documents and streaming. The Ryzen 5 and 1 TB SSD handle those well, but 8 GB of RAM limits many open apps at once.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

The SSD can generally be swapped for a larger drive. RAM is often soldered on thin OmniBook models, so check the service manual before buying if 8 GB worries you.

Does it have a backlit keyboard and fingerprint reader?

HP's 17-inch OmniBook configurations vary, and this listing does not confirm either feature. Confirm with the seller before buying if you need them.

Is the touchscreen worth it on a 17-inch laptop?

It helps with scrolling, tapping forms and light drawing, and the anti-glare coating reduces reflections. It adds little weight but is not essential for most office work.

When is the price likely to be lowest?

The $485 eBay price as of November 7, 2026 is already well below typical launch pricing for this configuration. Back-to-school and Black Friday periods are when 17-inch laptops usually drop further.
