Is $519 a good price for this set?

It is the only new price found, $519 at HexClad as of November 5, 2026. With one store listing it, there is no cheaper new option to compare against.

What is included in the 8-piece set?

It is an 8-piece knife and carving set, so expect prep knives plus carving pieces. Check the HexClad listing for the exact piece list before buying.

Is this real Damascus steel?

The blades are stainless steel with a Damascus pattern. That is a layered or etched look rather than a hand-forged Damascus blade, which matters at this price.

It suits a cook who wants one matching set for prep and carving and likes the Damascus look. Budget-focused buyers can get sharp stainless sets for far less.

How does it compare with HexClad cookware?

It is a knife set, not cookware, so it complements HexClad pans rather than replacing them. Buy it for the blades, not to match a pan set.

No discount history is available yet. Watch for HexClad site sales, since it is the only new listing.
