Are these forged or stamped knives?

Stamped. Each blade is cut from a single piece of steel and ice-hardened, which keeps the set light and affordable. Zwilling's forged Pro line is heavier and costs more.

Can the knives go in the dishwasher?

They are dishwasher-safe, but Zwilling recommends hand washing. Detergent and heat dull edges and wear the plastic handles faster.

What is included in the 10 pieces?

Chef's, bread, utility, paring, peeling and vegetable knives, a honing steel, and the block. Check the piece count against the block slots, since some sets add kitchen shears or a second utility knife.

How do I sharpen the serrated knives?

The included honing steel is for straight edges only. Serrated bread and utility knives need a tapered rod or a serrated-knife sharpener.

How does it compare with the Zwilling Pro set?
